December, 2011 |
For Christmas, we decided to half-ass our gift-giving routine this year and pull some old grubby toys out of the attic to re-gift. Apparently. they weren't too happy about being left up there, but we figured we'd dust them off anyway and pretend like they weren't staring at us with hateful, lifeless eyes.
This old Buddy has seen better days with his rubbed off paint exposing the wood grain and burnt, exposed eye socket.
Dollface, though the old girl was never really pristine, is looking a little more worn than usual in ivory-white porcelain with stains from who-knows how long ago. |

We took our Fat Nick mask, made him in pale corpse gray, added a healthy amount of moldy growth, slapped some rotting hair on him, and said his name three times fast. Get him fast before he returns to the afterlife. |

We poured a lot of tattoo time and sith-o-plasty deep in the CFX mask laboratory to turn a plain old Mac into this horned villain. Now all you need is to do is figure out how to make a double ended lightsaber; try not to get sliced in half. |

December, 2010 |
Special Thanks to Alan from Canada who bought Ebenezer and contributed $900 to Aidan's treatment.
This year, we're commemorating Dicken's classic cheapskate by being less of a scrooge ourselves. When someone buys old Ebenezer here, the entire sale price of this December's Mask of the Month will be donated to Aid for Aidan to Aidan's fight against Leukemia.
On September 13, 2010, 5-year-old Aidan was diagnosed with Leukemia. He was strong and pulled through while drawing his favorite monsters in the hospital, but still has 2 to 3 more years of treatments. Aidan is a young monster maker in the making and we at CFX would like to do our part to help his family with the medical bills and getting him well.
To make Scrooge, we made a special new nose and brow for Codger the Old Man and added a healthy amount of old British chops, bushy eyebrows and thinning hair. |

| Satan, Lucifer, Beelzebub, one name is just as good as the next, but if you ever meet this old devil alone in the woods you may want to think twice before striking any deals with him. Old Scratch makes a far different alternative to the more youthful, and scaly, Belial and has the look of a brooding, ancient fiend who's probably bargained for more souls than he can even remember. This Codger mask has been custom colored with demon horns added and finished with gray/black eyebrows and goatee. |
