Frequently Asked Questions: Shipping / General


Q: Which items are “made-to-order” and which ones are kept in stock?
A: All of our silicone products are “made-to-order”. We do not keep stock of masks, gloves, sil-gib body parts, or any of our other silicone products. We do keep stock of certain items however – such as blood, slime, foam-latex appliances, display heads, Dental Distortion Teeth, and paint.

Q: Do you ship outside the US?
A: Absolutely. We ship our products all over the globe. We traditionally use the US Postal Service for international shipments. Naturally, international shipping is considerably more costly than domestic shipments and varies in price from time to time, so please call or email us for a shipping estimate. Also – now would be a perfect time to bring up customs fees. CFX has absolutely no control over an individual nation’s customs laws. Please do not complain to us in regards to this. We will not alter an invoice or adjust retail values as to avoid a higher customs fee. Period.

Q: I need my stuff really fast….like yesterday. Will you send my stuff expedited?
A: We can ship by any of the expedited shipping methods through UPS (next day, 2nd day, etc.) Of course, it will cost you an arm and a leg – but we’ll do it. Call or email for an estimate.

Q: Can I get a discount?
A: Yes, CFX does offer two “price-break” discounts for our customers. The discounts are bulk-buying discounts. The first price-break begins at 5-9 masks/glove sets and is $50.00 off of every mask and/or glove set. The second price break is for customers buying 10 or more masks/gloves sets. The discount given at that point is $100.00 off of each mask and/or glove set. We also offer show-discounts for customers who purchase from us at a trade show that we’re actually attending. (the exact discount varies) Please do not ask us for a show discount if you’re at a trade-show that CFX isn’t attending.

Q: When can I expect my products? How long is the wait-time?
A: Our wait-times change depending upon a great many things (though it currently stands at about 4 weeks from the day payment is made). An “estimated shipping date” can be found at the top of every invoice we create. Please understand that this date is an estimate and your items may in fact arrive ahead of schedule – or it may a day or two late. We ‘re usually pretty good about getting shipments out before their ship-date.

Q: Can you rush my order?
A: Not usually. There are very rare and extenuating circumstances – but as a general rule, we do not rush orders. The quoted wait-time will stand.

Q: Can I add an item to my order after I’ve paid and it’s in the system?
A: Not to the same invoice, no. Once you’ve paid-out the balance for a current order – that order is entered into our system and put into a production queue. We’d strongly advise you to have a firm knowledge of exactly what it is you want when you place an order. If you opt to add something, the added item will have it’s own invoice, cost, and wait-time.
